Using this thoroughly explained, detailed flash lesson, I will explain to you how to create advanced and trendy passing train animation with sound. You can use this advanced animation for flash header, banner, some presentation. You don't have to use action script code to make this lesson. Using this lesson, you will also learn how to apply flash filter on any picture, how to duplicate any picture using some special flash tips and tricks, how to create Motion Tween, how to import any sound file into a flash stage and much, much more! Let's start!



Step 1

First, save the picture below!





Step 2


Create a new flash document. Press Ctrl+J key on the keyboard (Document Properties) and set the width of your document to 280 pixels and the height to 223 pixels. Select white as background color. Set your Flash movie's frame rate to 90 and click ok.



Step 3

Call the current layer picture. Double-click on its default name (Layer 1) to change it. Press Enter once you have typed in the new name!

Step 4

Choose now File > Import > Import to stage (Ctrl+R) and import the picture that you saved in step 1!

Step 5

While the picture is still selected, press F8 key (Convert to Symbol) to convert it into a Movie Clip Symbol.



Step 6

While the new made Movie Clip (picture) is still selected, go to the Align Panel (Ctrl+K) and do the following:

1. Make sure that the Align/Distribute to Stage button is turned on,
2. Click on the Align horizontal center button and
3. Click the Align vertical center button.



Step 7

Select the Selection Tool (V) and click once on the picture to select it. After that, go to the Properties Panel (Ctrl+F3) below the stage! Then, select Filters tab from the left side. Click after that on the plus icon and select the Blur filter. Make the adjustments as follows:



Step 8

Select again the Selection Tool (V), press and Hold down Alt + Shift key and duplice picture like it is shown on the picture below!



Step 9

Select the Selection Tool (V) and click on the last copied picture. After that, go again to the Properties Panel (Ctrl+F3) below the stage! Then, select Filters tab from the left side. Click after that on the plus icon and select the Blur filter. Make the adjustments as follows:



Step 10

Click now on frame 35 and press F6 key. After that, while you're still on frame 35, move the copied image to last image is on the main stage! See the picture below!



Step 11

Right-click anywhere on the gray area between the two keyframes on the timeline and choose Create Motion Tween from the menu that appear.



Step 12

It's time for sound, so create a new layer above the layer picture and name it sound.

Step 13

Download now my example file (fla) at the end of tutorial and open it into a flash. After that, open my flash library (Ctrl+L), find my sound file, select it and press Ctrl+C key (Copy). After that, go back on the flash stage of lesson, select sound layer and press Ctrl+V key (Paste).
