Very attractive mask text animation

This lesson will teach You how to create very attractive text animation in flash. To create this lesson, you have to use mask. You don't have to use action script code to make this lesson. This animation is very easy for create, but in the same time very powerful. You can use it for any presentation, flash header, banner...You will also learn how to transform any object using the shape and some special flash tips and tricks and much more! Let's go!



Step 1

Create a new flash document. Press Ctrl+J key on the keyboard (Document Properties) and set the dimensions of your document as whatever you like. Select any color as background color.Set your Flash movie's frame rate to 28 and click ok.



Step 2


Take the Text Tool (A) and type any text on the stage.

Step 3

While the Text is still selected, press F8 key (Convert to Symbol) to convert this text into a Graphic Symbol.



Step 4

Double click on layer 1 to rename its name in text. After that, click on frame 20 and press F6 key. Then, move your text a little right using the arrows key or by mouse. After that, click on frame 40 and press again F6 key then, move the text a little up. Click on frame 60 and press F6 key. Then, move the text a little down. After that, click on frame 80 and press F6 key. Then, move the text a little right.

Step 5

Select the text layer and go to the Properties Panel (Ctrl+F3) below the stage. On the left side, you will see Tween drop down menu. Choose motion on it. See the picture below.



Step 6

Create a new layer above the text layer and name it shape.

Step 7

Select the shape layer and take the Rectangle Tool (R). Then, draw a rectangle below the text. See the picture below.



Step 8

Click on frame 30 of layer shape and press F7 key (Blank Keyframe). Then, take again the Rectangle Tool (R) and draw a shapes, and place it on the position like it is shown on the picture below.



Step 9

Click on frame 60 and press again F7 key (Blank keyframe). Then, draw this shapes using the Rectamgle Tool (R).



Step 10

Click on frame 80 and press F7 key. Then, draw this shape and place it over the shape.



Step 11

Click on frame 100 and press F7 key. Then, draw this shape.



Step 12

Select the shape layer and go again to the Properties Panel (Ctrl+F3) below the stage. On the left side, you will see Tween drop down menu. Choose shape on it. See the picture below.



Step 13

Select shape layer and convert it to a mask by right-clicking on the shape layer and selecting Mask. See the picture below.
