Using this thoroughly explained, detailed lesson, you will see how to create very attractive movie text effect. For this lesson, I will present a new 007 Movie - Quantum Of Solace. You can use this text rotation effect Whenever you need to present somethnig. You can alo use this presentation as any flash banner and header. Using this lesson, you will also learn how to rotate any text, how to use flash filters to make your presentation more powerful and much more!
Step 1 First of all, find some photos of any movie, car, any object which you like to present in this lesson. You can also if you like, save a my picture of new 007 Movie - Quantum Of Solace below! ![]() Step 2 Create a new Flash document (File > New > Flash Document). Press Ctrl+J key on the keyboard (Document Properties) and set the width of your document to 420 pixels and the height to 297 pixels (as the dimensions of picture). Select any color as background color. Set your Flash movie's frame rate to 30 and click ok. See the picture below! ![]() Step 3 Choose now, file > Import > Import to stage (Shortcut key: Ctrl+R) and import a picture into a flash stage! Step 4 While the picture is still selected, go to the Align Panel (Ctrl+K) and do the following: 1. Make sure that the Align/Distribute to Stage button is turned on, 2. Click on the Align horizontal center button and 3. Click the Align vertical center button. ![]() Step 5 While the picture is still selected, press F8 key (Convert to Symbol) to convert this picture into a Movie Clip Symbol. ![]() Step 6 Click now on frame 20, 180 and 200 and press F6 key. Step 7 Go back now on frame 1, take the Selection Tool (V) and click once on the picture to select it. After that, go to the Properties Panel (Ctrl+F3) below the stage.On the right, you will see the Color menu. Select Advanced on it, click on Settings button set the following options and click ok. ![]() Repeat this process also for frame 200. Step 8 Right-click anywhere on the gray area between frame 1 and 20 and frame 180 and 200 on the timeline and choose Create Motion Tween from the menu that appears. Step 9 Take the Selection Tool (V) now and double click on layer 1 to rename its name into a movie. After that, create a new layer above the layer Movie and name it text effect. Step 10 Lock now layer movie, select layer text, click on frame 20 and press F6 key. While you're still on frame 20 of layer text, take the Text Tool (A) and go the Properties Panel (Ctrl+F3) below the stage. Then, choose the following options: 1. Select a Static Text field, 2. Select a Verdana as font. 3. Choose 12 as font size and bold it, 4. Select white as color, 5. As the rendering option, select Use Anti-alias for readability. ![]() Then, type any adequate text! Step 11 While the text is still selected, press F8 key (Convert to Symbol) to convert this text into a Movie Clip Symbol. ![]() Step 12 Click now on frame 30,95 and 100 and press F6 key. Step 13 While you're still on frame 100, take the Selection Tool (V) and click once on the text to select it. Then, go again to the Properties Panel (Ctrl+F3) below the stage. Then, select Filters tab from the left side. Click after that on the plus icon and select the Blur filter. Make the adjustments as follows: ![]() Then, take again the Selection Tool (V) and click once on the text to select it. Then, go again to the Properties Panel (Ctrl+F3) below the stage. On the right, you will see the Color menu. Select Alpha in it and put it down to 0%. ![]() Step 14 Go back on frame 20, take the Free Transform Tool (Q) and enlarge your text a lot, like it is shown on the picture below! ![]() Step 15 After that, take again the Selection Tool (V) and click again once on the text to select it. Then, go again to the Properties Panel (Ctrl+F3) below the stage. Then, select Filters tab from the left side. Click after that on the plus icon and select the Blur filter. Make the adjustments as follows: ![]() Step 16 Then, select frame 20 and go again to the Properties Panel (Ctrl+F3). Then, choose the following options: ![]() Step 17 Right-click anywhere on the gray area between frame 20 and 30 and frame 95 and 100 on the timeline and choose Create Motion Tween from the menu that appears.
