Deep Blue image animation

Using this thoroughly explained, detailed lesson, you will see how to create very attractive deep blue image animation using a Color Mixer Panel and some special flash tips and tricks. You don't have to use action script code to make this lesson. Using this thoroughly explained lesson, you will also learn how to import any image into a flash stage, how to aligned it with the background and much more! You can use this animation for any flash header, banner, when you like to present something.



Step 1

First of all, download a transparent png image!



Step 2


Create a new flash document. Press Ctrl+J key on the keyboard (Document Properties) and set the width of your document to 450 pixels and the height to 245 pixels. Select #033553 as background color. Set your Flash movie's frame rate to 18 and click ok. See the picture below!



Step 3

Choose now, file > Import > Import to stage (Shortcut key: Ctrl+R) and import a image into a flash stage!

Step 4

While the image is still selected, go to the Align Panel (Ctrl+K) and do the following:

1. Make sure that the Align/Distribute to Stage button is turned on,
2. Click on the Align horizontal center button and
3. Click the Align vertical center button.



Step 5

Double click now on layer 1 with the Selection Tool (V) and rename its name into a image. After that, create  a new layer above the layer text and name it effect.



Step 6

Click now on frame 50 of layer image and press F5 key.

Step 7

Select now layer effect, take the Oval Tool (O) and draw the Oval shape on the position like it is shown on the picture below!



Step 8

While the Oval Shape is still selected, go to the Color Mixer Panel (Shift+F9) and choose the following options:

Click now on frame 30 and press F6 key. After that, go again to the Color Mixer Panel (Shift+F9) and choose the following options:



Step 10

Click now on frame 50 and press F6 key. After that, go again to the Color Mixer Panel and choose the following options:



Step 11

Select now frame 1 and go to the Properties Panel (Ctrl+F3) below the stage. On the left side, you will see Tween Drop Down menu. Select shape on it!



Do this also for frame 30.

That's it!
